A massive crowd of more than a million people flooded into London Saturday for the “Unite the Kingdom Free Speech Festival,” an event dedicated to honoring Charlie Kirk and demanding free expression. According to the Gateway Pundit, more than 2.5 million tuned in to the livestream worldwide.

The rally opened with Maori Christians from New Zealand performing a traditional Haka dance in memory of Kirk, followed by a moment of silence led by Tommy Robinson, who thanked Elon Musk “for making this possible.” Robinson then joined Musk via livestream.

“I think there’s something beautiful about being British,” Musk said, wearing a shirt that read “What would George Orwell think?” He criticized what he called “a slow erosion” of the nation and warned that “violence is coming to you. You either fight back or die.” Musk also mourned “our friend Charlie Kirk, murdered in cold blood,” and called the political left “the party of murder, and celebrating murder.”

Robinson later told the crowd, “Mum, I just interviewed Elon Musk.”

Among the international lineup of speakers were actor Lawrence Fox, Australian journalist Avi Yemeni, activist Liam Tufts, Dutch commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek, French politician Éric Zemmour, German MEP Petr Bystron, Polish MEP Dominik Tarczynski, Advance UK leader Ben Habib, Romanian presidential candidate George Simion, Irish actor Terry McMahon, and Danish People’s Party leader Morten Messerschmitt. U.S. country singer Don Keith performed the national anthem before the crowd erupted into chants of “Charlie! Charlie!”

Multiple messages of solidarity were also delivered by video, including one from Spain’s Vox leader Santiago Abascal. Former British Special Forces veteran Ant Middleton used the stage to announce his 2028 run for mayor of London, pledging to “make London safe again.”

Emotional moments punctuated the day. Bagpipes played “Amazing Grace” as flags from across Europe filled the crowd. Vlaardingerbroek unfurled an Irish flag with the 1917 declaration of independence, proclaiming “Generation Remigration.” Messerschmitt declared, “Today, we are all Charlie Kirk.”

German MEP Bystron shouted, “They put Tommy Robinson in prison. They tried to kill President Donald Trump. They killed Charlie Kirk! But they will not silence us!” The audience responded with cheers of “Charlie!”

Romanian candidate George Simion closed with a vow of unity: “We stand with Charlie Kirk, and we stand with President Donald Trump and the United States of America! The Romanian people, the Polish people and Slovakian people will fight with you.”

The rally was streamed live and amplified across social media, with clips circulating under #UniteTheKingdom. One video posted by Tommy Robinson called it “THE UK’s LARGEST FREE SPEECH FESTIVAL,” while Peter Sweden described “incredible scenes” as patriots took over the streets.

Musk’s appearance was highlighted in a viral post by British Intel, which called his livestream speech a “surprise” and praised his stance on free speech.

As bagpipes echoed through Whitehall and chants of Kirk’s name rolled across London, the demonstration became both a tribute to a fallen activist and a rallying cry for political movements across Europe and the United States.
